11:00am- 2:00pm Festival of Colors: CCSU Outdoor Stage 

The Festival of Colors is the kick off event for GLBTQ week. We will have lunch provided by Sodexo, live music, information tables, and a performance. The Festival serves as a resources fair and networking opportunity for students, faculty, and staff. It promotes a safe space and awareness of the GLBTQ campus community.

5:30pm- 8:00pm Film Screening- Angels of Sex: Location HSS Annex

This film takes place in Spain, and promotes awareness of bisexulity and polyamory in relationships.

7:00pm-9:00pm Hate! An American Love Story performed by C. N. Alexander: CCSU Auditorium

HALS tells the story of 8 characters. Male/Female/Transgender, Gay/Straight, Black/White, Military and more. Issues of racism, sexism, bigotry, tolerance, sexuality, and sexual identity, and religion/faith brought together in a 1-person show.

7:00pm-9:00pm Sexversations with Becca Tieder: CCSU Ballroom

This program provides a safe and comfortable space to get an important conversation started and gets people talking about sexual health. Participants will learn how to address these topics, recognize myths/facts about sexual health, and help contribute to a safer and empowered campus culture.

7:30pm-10:00pm  Drag Show: CCSU All Ballrooms

The Drag Show is a big hit every year. We host performers from Albuquerque and Las Cruces (including Stonewall QSA) who entertain the audience through dance and music, while educating about gender expression, diversity, and acceptance.

7:00pm-9:00pm Queer Slam Poetry Competition: CCSU East Ballroom

For the final event, we will be hosting a student-run slam poetry night. Students, faculty, and staff will perform pieces competiton-style with a GLBTQ theme. This event helps celebrate diversity through expressing sexual/gender identities and orientations.
